FANS Program
The FANS program is brought to you by Bill Wilcke as a courtesy of the University of Minnesota and can be found here. The program is not intended for redistribution. The purpose of the program is to help farmers, grain managers and equipment dealers select fans for grain drying and storage bins. The program can also be used to determine airflows in existing storage bins by selecting bin size, crop variety, crop depth and fan type. OPIsystems uses the cfm/bu as an important input in determining the potential effectiveness of its OPIGIMAC program.
