OPIsystems offers Aerate, an Aeration Modeling program that can help to improve your storage management in a number of ways;

1. As a design tool, Aerate can analyze various storage dimensions and fan configurations to arrive at the best storage system to meet your requirements, whether to dry, condition or simply aerate your grain for safe long-term storage. Conversely, the program may indicate that your expectations are unrealistic relative to the limitations of your facility.
2. As a means to understand how StorMaxPro.Gimac could help to improve your bottom line, based on your;

a. Location
b. Grain type
c. Start date
d. Airflow
e. Program type;

i. Natural Air Drying
ii. Conditioning
iii. Aeration

f. Target objectives;

i. Stop when target temperature achieved
ii. Stop when target moisture content achieved
iii. Stop at target date

g. Target temperature
h. Target moisture
i. Power Management overrides

3. As a tool to help decide where to set your control parameters when running the specific StorMaxPro.Gimac drying, conditioning or aeration programs.

Aerate has a database of locations with hourly outside RH (Relative Humidity) and Temperature for the past 10 years. If we don't already have your location in the system, it can be added provided that the data is available, which typically comes from the Regional or National weather reporting service. Once all inputs are entered, the program will run through the past ten years, with output being Average as well as Minimum and Maximum years for;
