Company History

The company was founded in 1984 to manufacture the OPI-ONE line of grain temperature monitoring, which was sold predominantly into the North American farm market. Changing our name from Cool Grain to OPIsystems Inc. in 1994, we expanded our product line to serve farm and commercial markets, both in and beyond North America. Having developed the digital-based StorMax product line in the late '90's, OPIsystems has evolved to where it provides a complete line of grain quality management products, both to on-farm and commercial storage markets around the world.

From its humble beginning, OPI has become the recognized name in storage management. With our base in Calgary Alberta Canada, and field office in Beijing China, our products can be found in over 40 countries.
